General Conditions of Use

Please read these terms of use carefully before using the services offered by Meerabel SAS (hereinafter referred to as "The Company" or "Meerabel SAS"), a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €10,000 having its registered office at 4 Passage Antoinette Caillot, 35000 RENNES, registered under number 913604278 in the Rennes Trade and Companies Register. These terms define the conditions and legal obligations governing the use of the services offered through the Meerabel Application (hereinafter "the Application"), its features, and content.

Definitions

Website: refers to the Meerabel website operated by Meerabel and accessible at www.meerabel.com

Service(s): refers to the features of the Application as defined in Articles 2 and 4;

User: refers to any individual registered on the Application and using the Service(s);

Points: refers to the points earned by the User by deleting or rating photos in the Application.

Article 1 — Acceptance of the General Terms of Use

1.1 By registering and/or using the Application in any manner, including visiting or browsing, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms incorporate the Meerabel Privacy Policy and all other operating rules published on the Application, subject to change without notice.

Checking the box "I accept the general conditions of use and certify that I am over 15 years old" confirms unreserved acceptance. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between the User and the Company.

1.2 Meerabel reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms, or suspend the Service at any time with notice. Continued use following changes constitutes acceptance.

1.3 Users who do not agree to these Terms must refrain from accessing the Application or using the Service.

Article 2 — General Description

2.1 The Application is a photo triage and decluttering service promoting digital sobriety and rewarding User efforts.

The Application allows Users to convert deleted photos, ratings, or bonuses into Points redeemable for partner offers.

2.2 Using the Application requires an internet-connected smartphone or tablet and a personal account.

Article 3 — Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Users must be natural persons aged 15 or older who have accepted these Terms without reservation.

3.2 Standard operator fees (such as data or SMS charges) remain the responsibility of the User.

3.3 The Service is strictly intended for personal use and may not be used for commercial, professional, or competitive activities.

3.4 Membership is free and involves no purchase obligation.

3.5 Account creation requires either completing the in-app registration form or connecting through third-party authentication (Google, Facebook).

3.6 Users agree not to create multiple accounts, not to impersonate others, and not to use offensive usernames.

3.7 To benefit from all features, Users grant the Application access to their device's native photo library. All analysis is performed locally on-device.

3.8 The User warrants that information provided is accurate and agrees not to send false data or use bots to generate Points. Referral codes may not be published on review websites.

3.9 Users are solely responsible for activities performed through their account and must safeguard login credentials.

Article 4 — Service Description

4.1 Points: Users can accumulate Points through verified photo deletions, ratings, daily bonuses, or partner purchases. Points are redeemable exclusively within the Application. Daily earning caps may apply.

4.2 Rewards: Rewards are supplied by third-party partners. Redemption rules depend on the reward type (digital delivery within 72 hours, physical delivery within 30 business days, sweepstakes, cash transfers via SEPA, or tree-planting and non-profit donations).

Article 5 — Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Application, branding, software, and content belong exclusively to Meerabel SAS or its licensors. Reproduction, reverse engineering, or scraping without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Article 6 — Personal Data & Privacy

Personal data is handled in strict accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Article 7 — Liability

7.1 The Company cannot be held liable for internet network outages or device incompatibility with older versions.

7.2 The User agrees to use the Service fairly and lawfully.

7.3 The Company is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or events attributable to force majeure.

7.4 Any proven liability is capped at the value of Points converted during the preceding three (3) months.

Article 8 — Term and Termination

8.1 The contract is entered into for an indefinite duration.

8.2 The Company may suspend accounts for breaches, or deactivate accounts inactive for more than 30 days. Accounts inactive for 24 months are deleted.

8.3 Users may delete their account at any time via the Application.

Article 9 — Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
